Activities Day
Board members sat at a table and talked to new students about S-PSEA and our mission. Our main focus was encouraging education majors to get involved. We signed up 59 members for our e-mail list and invited them all to our first meeting.

End of the Fall Semester Pizza Party
Members came to prepare the snack and craft for the children's holiday party. We listened to music, had pizza and snacks, and made new friends. Members were encouraged to mingle and have fun.

Communication with Members
Our executive board communicates with our members in many ways. In the fall our Journalist sent out a monthly newsletter. Our Presidnet sends out bi-weekly meeting reminders explaining what we will be doing that week. Our Secretary sends out the bi-weekly meeting minutes at the end of each meeting week, and our Historian and Public Relations Chair create a seasonal bulletin board and update it with information about upcoming events.

General Meetings
Our chapter holds bi-weekly meetings throughout the school year. Our first meeting informed members about who we are and what our mission is. The meetings throughout the semester informed members about what events we would be attending or holding throughout the semester. Also, members sign up to attend or volunteer at these events during our meetings.
In the spring we changed our meeting schedule to have two bi-weekly meetings to allow for more members to attend. So far, we have had more members coming and getting involved.
